Let's do it

The apartment has a total area of around 70 square meters. The floor was and is in pine. "We tried to keep the doors as high as they were although with a different design, to level the floor of the house, laying a new pine floor on top of the former one". The exit corridor door was cut. The main entrance door remained the same due to the difference of level of the floor where the old wood almost all covered by the new floor shows up. "The former wooden floor had a thirteen centimeter difference of level. So it was necessary to lay a new one on top of it. The old stucco was also renovated, including the central flowerwork, completing the missing part. The meters are now at the entrace of the apartment on a wall especially built for them.

The floor had a thirteen centimeter difference of level. A new one was put on top of it, leaving a step near the entrance door to mark the difference. The wall in the middle of the living room was also removed. The ruined windows were rebuilt according to the former model.

T
he old flowerwork plastered on the ceiling had meanwhile lost one part, that was now recuperated. The remaining stuccos were also in need of improvement and the signs of the old wall in the middle of the room all vanished.
