11- The corridor's
floor in ochre yellow hydrologic mosaic was removed giving place to a
Traditional Portuguese wooden floor. Detail of the corridor showing the
already mentioned pathologies and the obtained result after being corrected.
12- Kitchen: the old ruined cupboards, kitchen working bench and
tiles were removed. They didn't match , with the existing architecture,
according to us. They were replaced by new ones. We would like to mentioned
the new tile hand painted frame and the rustic handicraft pavement tiles.
13- In the existing
bathrooms our changes was centered in replacing the wall and pavement
coverings keeping the old ceramics, and being careful to let prevail the
same type of architecture and in the transition band between tiles and
stucco.
14- Fungis in the stuccos and rotten wooden
ceilings in the zones of more infiltration were evident. We used "estafes"
(linseed bases) supported by new wooden elements while rebuilding them,
following the same construction process.
